REMS Real Estate Value Portfolio

REMS Real Estate Value Portfolio is a long-only public real estate strategy that may invest in the full universe of public real estate securities including all REIT index constituents plus any other opportunity where the majority of the public company’s revenues or intrinsic value is derived from real estate, including:

  • The common stock of publicly traded equity, mortgage, and hybrid REIT companies;
  • The common stock of Real Estate Operating Companies (REOCs) that are publicly traded but have not elected REIT status;
  • The preferred equity securities of publicly traded REIT companies

REMS’ Value, Yield-Advantage investment process is research driven with a primary objective to generate excess returns over a market cycle by purchasing public real estate enterprises at a discount to the private market valuation of the underlying real estate holdings.  Current income is the secondary objective.
